About me

Aisha giving a keynote in TunisiaI am Associate Professor in Technology, Education and Learning at the University of Leeds. I lead the MA Technology, Education and Learning and teach on modules related to technology including “Learning with Digital Technologies”; “Technology Enhanced Language Learning”, “Design and Evaluation of Digital Learning Environments” and “Growing Up in the Digital Age”.  I am co-author of “Technology Enhanced Language Learning: connecting theory and practice” published by Oxford University Press.  More information about my research and teaching can be found on my university webpage. Often I struggle with writer’s block so I started this blog as a place to record and consider ideas some of which might, in time, become more fully developed publications. It is also a way to practise the discipline of writing; by keeping the blog there is always a writing task in hand.

I am very fond of boats, I play the tuba, I knit and I  crochet.
